Award Winners

Westworld Saskatchewan writers have been recognized for their work.

 

Sheila Hansen's "Alaska Ahoy" (Fall, 2011) won Bronze place in the 2011 Annual North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) Awards competition in the Cruises category. This awards competition, now in its 20th year, honors the “best of the best” in travel writing, photography and promotion that cover all aspects of the travel industry worldwide.

 

 

John Camp bell's Getting Their Kicks (Summer, 2009) won the Gold Award Best Article Saskatchewan at the 2010 Western Magazine Awards. Allan Casey's The Little Boat that Could (Summer, 2008) fetched the same award in 2009. And a year eariler The Comeback Canid (Winter, 2007) also won the award.
