CAA Premier & Premier RV

Premier and Premier RV membership card

CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV membership provide enhancements to CAA Plus and CAA Plus RV membership.

As a CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV Member, you receive all the benefits and services of CAA Plus coverage plus the added services listed below.  For RV membership, full service will be provided to your dual-wheel pickup camper, raised-roof van, motor home, and recreational trailers (including but not restricted to fifth wheel trailers). This coverage excludes livestock trailers.

Towing

In the event of a breakdown or when the following services fail to get you mobile, CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV provide up to 160 kilometres of towing from the point of breakdown to the repair facility of your choice. You are also entitled to one tow of up to 320 kilometres per year of coverage. All Members, including Premier Associate, receive up to five Roadside Assistance calls per membership year. You can request Roadside Assistance one of two ways:


(Note: Collision towing is covered through SGI in Saskatchewan, but may be covered by CAA/AAA in other provinces or states.)

Battery Boost

If your vehicle battery requires a boost, CAA will provide this service.
 
Flat Tire Service

CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV membership provide for the replacement of the flat tire with the qualifying vehicle’s inflated spare tire.


Free Fuel and Delivery

If you run out of gas or diesel fuel, CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV provide a sufficient amount of free fuel to enable you to reach the nearest service station, or a tow in accordance with the above towing provisions to a facility where gas or diesel is available.


Lock and Key Service

If your keys are lost, broken or locked in the vehicle, CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV provide up to $100 for parts and labour for locksmith service. If required, your vehicle will be towed in accordance with the above provisions.


Extrication Service

Getting out of a ditch from an embankment could require more than one truck and experienced driver. If your situation calls for additional help, CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV provide for a second truck and driver for one hour for qualifying vehicles.


Reimbursement When CAA Service is Unavailable

Any time you need roadside assistance and it’s not available through CAA, your CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV membership enable you to be reimbursed for CAA Premier services obtained at prevailing commercial rates from the facility nearest the breakdown location.


Trip Interruption & Vehicle Return

If your vehicle is disabled for more than 24 hours as a result of a traffic accident, mechanical breakdown or theft, 160 kilometres or more from home, you will be reimbursed up to $2,000 (Cdn) for covered out-of-pocket expenses, including restaurant meals and commercial accommodations or for substitute commercial transportation to continue the trip.

If meals, accommodation or transportation are provided privately (i.e: by a friend or family member), and a signed receipt is submitted by the provider, we will reimburse those costs as follows:

  • Meals: up to $20 per Member, per day, for a maximum of three days (max. $60 per Member)
  • Accommodations: up to $50 per claim, per day, for a maximum of three days (max. $150)
  • Transportation: up to $50 per claim, per day, for a maximum of three days (max. $150)

The combined annual limit payable when the breakdown is a result of a collision or theft is $2,000 (Cdn). When the breakdown is a result of mechanical failure, the combined annual limit payable is $600 (Cdn).  The vehicle return benefit will reimburse eligible Members up to $500 (Cdn) for transportation of the vehicle back to the Premier Member’s primary residence when an unexpected illness or injury prevents the completion of the covered travel.

  • For Trip Interruption, the accident must be reported to the local police and/or your insurance company.
  • For mechanical breakdown, your vehicle must be deemed unsafe and/or inoperable. Proof of same condition must be provided by a licensed mechanical technician.
  • Costs incurred within 72 hours of the time of the accident are eligible for reimbursement.
  • Claim must be submitted to CAA within 60 days.
  • Original receipts are required for refund consideration and must be supplied with the Trip Accident Assistance application form available from any CAA Saskatchewan office.

Two-Day Complimentary Rental Car

If your vehicle is towed and you are stranded without transportation, we will arrange a mid-size class rental car for two days at no charge. With CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV, you are entitled to one complimentary, consecutive two-day car rental per membership year when the tow is one of the five allowable Roadside Assistance calls. This benefit is valid for Members who are within 160 kilometres of their residence.


Travel Accident Insurance

Included in your CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV membership is $500,000 in coverage for loss of life when travelling by scheduled airline, ship, bus, or train with tickets purchased at any CAA Travel Agency Saskatchewan office. For round-trip travel, coverage begins when you leave your residence and continues until you return home.


Worldwide Emergency Travel and Medical Assistance

As a CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV Member, if you have an emergency while travelling 160 kilometers or more from your primary residence, you may call for Emergency Travel and Medical Assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you need emergency medical transportation arrangements, translation assistance or you lost your travel documentation, we can help.

Worldwide Concierge Services

As a CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV Member, you can receive easy access to many services when you’re travelling on a domestic or international vacation 160 kilometres or more from your primary residence. Whether it's theatre tickets, golf tee times and reservations or just looking for travel information, your own personal concierge is at your service.

Personal Accident Insurance

Included with your CAA Saskatchewan membership is a personal accident insurance policy that provides worldwide coverage against most travel and pedestrian accidents. CAA Premier and CAA Premier RV Members are covered for $6,000, increasing to a maximum of $10,000 by the fifth year, in case of death, loss of sight, or dismemberment as a result of an accident as a pedestrian or in a car, plane, ship, public transport, or farm machines designed to be ridden. Complete details of the benefits provided can be found in the policy you received at the time you joined the club or you can request a certificate of insurance from any CAA office.


Personal Accident Insurance Rider (PAIR)

For a low premium, you can purchase a Personal Accident Insurance Rider (PAIR) and increase your coverage by four to 10 times to a maximum of $100,000 per covered Member. Your policy remains in effect as long as you are a CAA Saskatchewan Member. If you would like to increase your policy limit, contact your nearest CAA Saskatchewan office.

Free Passport Photos

When booking travel at CAA Saskatchewan Travel Agency, you will receive your passport photos at no charge.
