Day 1 Home Cities to Dickenson, ND

Get to know all of your travelling companions today as we make our way to Dickenson. We will have a packed evening of entertainment. This evening enjoy a Pitchfork Fondue dinner where the chefs load rib eye steaks onto pitchforks and fondue them western style. After dinner our entertainment for the evening will be the Medora Musical. This variety show includes dancing, rope tricks, yodelling and 2 main acts. This is an outdoor theatre so please bring warm clothes or even a blanket.

Day 2 Dickenson to Deadwood, SD
Today on our way to Deadwood we will take a tour of the North Dakota badlands followed by a tour of Château de Mores. Later today we will arrive at the Mineral Palace Hotel & Casino which will be our home for the next 4 nights. Your dinner tonight is included..
Day 3 Deadwood

This morning we will have a city tour of Deadwood which will include a tour of Mount Moriah Cemetery. This cemetery is the final resting place of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. This afternoon we will do a tour of the Homestake Gold Mine. The tour takes you through the historic town of Lead and Homestake’s underground surface operation. From here we will go to Tatanka which is the story of the Bison. While here you will enjoy a larger than life bronze sculpture featuring 14 bison pursued by 3 Native American Horseback Riders. At your leisure enjoy a Prime Rib Dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 4 Deadwood

We will make our way today to Bear Country & Reptile Gardens. At Bear Country we will take a leisurely three mile drive through several enclosures and encounter black bear, elk, reindeer, deer, cougars, bobcats, rocky mountain goats, bighorn sheep, dall sheep and buffalo, reptile Gardens is the best place to see some of the most beautiful gardens and exotic birds in the Black Hills area. There is a lot more than just snakes here. We will then head over to Fort Hayes, the site of many of the prop buildings used in the movie Dances with Wolves, and then have a Chuckwagon dinner and show.

Day 5 Deadwood

We will make our way today to Bear Country & Reptile Gardens. All good things must come to an end as we make our way home today. We will make a stop at the duty free store.
