We are seeking a strategic and people-focused leader to support and strengthen our insurance operations. Reporting to the General Manager, Insurance Operations, this role provides leadership across insurance operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

You will play a key role in optimizing workflows, enhancing operational performance, and building leadership capability across the division while managing competing priorities and supporting key operational initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for insurance operations including service teams, administration, Contact Centre, and compliance 

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate goals and service excellence 

  • Lead operational planning, forecasting, and performance measurement activities 

  • Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning 

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk 

  • Support adoption and optimization of systems such as Applied EPIC and other digital tools 

  • Ensure compliance with insurance legislation, regulatory standards, and internal controls 

  • Monitor performance metrics and contribute to budgeting and operational decision-making 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, brokers, and partners to support strong service outcomes

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in an insurance brokerage or related environment 

  • Strong understanding of brokerage workflows, compliance requirements, and regulations 

  • Experience improving operations, leading change, and implementing systems 

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills 

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and teams 

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and brokerage systems (Applied EPIC preferred)

  • Post-secondary education in business, insurance, or a related field (preferred)

  • 7–10 years of progressive insurance and operational leadership experience

  • Level 2 or Level 3 General Insurance License strongly preferred

  • CIP, CAIB, FCIP, or similar designations considered an asset

This role requires travel throughout Saskatchewan and follows a Monday to Friday, 36.25-hour work week. Compensation for this position is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
