We are seeking a strategic and people-focused leader to support and strengthen our insurance operations. Reporting to the General Manager, Insurance Operations, this role provides leadership across insurance operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
You will play a key role in optimizing workflows, enhancing operational performance, and building leadership capability across the division while managing competing priorities and supporting key operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight for insurance operations including service teams, administration, Contact Centre, and compliance

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate goals and service excellence

Lead operational planning, forecasting, and performance measurement activities

Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk

Support adoption and optimization of systems such as Applied EPIC and other digital tools

Ensure compliance with insurance legislation, regulatory standards, and internal controls

Monitor performance metrics and contribute to budgeting and operational decision-making

Collaborate with internal teams, brokers, and partners to support strong service outcomes
Skills & Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in an insurance brokerage or related environment

Strong understanding of brokerage workflows, compliance requirements, and regulations

Experience improving operations, leading change, and implementing systems

Excellent communication, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills

Ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and teams

High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and brokerage systems (Applied EPIC preferred)

Post-secondary education in business, insurance, or a related field (preferred)

7–10 years of progressive insurance and operational leadership experience
-
Level 2 or Level 3 General Insurance License strongly preferred

CIP, CAIB, FCIP, or similar designations considered an asset
This role requires travel throughout Saskatchewan and follows a Monday to Friday, 36.25-hour work week. Compensation for this position is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
