What is Personal Accident Insurance
Personal Accident Insurance protects you as the primary Member, your family (Associate Members) against accidents that involve most forms of travel, including cars, subway, bus, boats, taxi, farm vehicles or commercial airplanes. Coverage also extends if an insured is involved in an accident (with any of the above) as a pedestrian.
Who needs Personal Accident Insurance
Personal Accident Insurance is coverage perfect for those who travel frequently, are not protected with Life or Accident coverage or simply want to top up their existing insurance coverage. It provides you with a policy that provides worldwide coverage against most travel and pedestian accidents.
Personal Accident Insurance Coverage
Effective October 1, 2023, Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) will not be automatically included with new or current CAA memberships. However, the coverage is still available for those Members who choose to purchase it. CAA Members who have opted for additional coverage can be assured that their coverage level is unchanged.
