CAA Saskatchewan 2020 Scholarships

For this year’s graduating high school students, we salute you!

(And also want to let you know about the CAA Saskatchewan Scholarships)

It’s that time of year! Many Saskatchewan high school students who are planning to graduate this year are busy researching scholarship availability.

Since 2006, CAA Saskatchewan has provided annual entrance scholarships to three Saskatchewan educational institutions including the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina: Scholarships are $2,500 at each institution. Applicants must be either a CAA Saskatchewan Member or child of a Member, and a Saskatchewan resident.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic: CAA Saskatchewan Scholarships are $3,000 in total and include the Automotive Service Technician Program at the Saskatoon Campus ($1,000) and at the Moose Jaw Campus ($1,000), plus the Auto Body Technician Certificate Program ($1,000) at the Regina Campus. The CAA scholarships at Saskatchewan Polytechnic are available April 1 to June 30th to CAA Saskatchewan Members and non-members.

“Through our scholarship program, we are helping students invest in their future. Best wishes and congratulations to all successful applicants,” said Fred Titanich, President and CEO, CAA Saskatchewan.

A recent Saskatchewan Polytechnic student and CAA Saskatchewan Scholarship award recipient was pleased to be selected and had this to say: “It really means so much to me for winning this award. Right now, I can pay less for my loan and would not worry much for my financial needs. I am a working student and am really working and studying hard. I would like to finish this program and plan to obtain the Red Seal in Automotive Service Technician. I am really thankful for this award.”

Interested applicants are encouraged to contact the above mentioned post-secondary educational institution of their choice regarding application forms, scholarship availability, and selection process.

CAA Saskatchewan also awards one entrance scholarship of $2,500 to a CAA Saskatchewan employee or child of an employee. The successful candidate is determined by academic excellence and selected by CAA Saskatchewan.
