Saskatchewan students will be returning to their classrooms starting Wednesday, September 1. Pedestrian, cyclist, and vehicle traffic will be on the increase in our school zones. According to CAA’s Vanora Gagnier, “It’s time to talk with our children about their safe routes to school, whether they’re walking, cycling, being bused or driven by family or friends.” 

Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative has once again partnered with the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan to bring car enthusiasts an event to remember, all in support of the Regina Food Bank. A fun event for all ages, the show consistently draws 500 exhibitors and over 5,000 attendees – making it the largest car show in Southern Saskatchewan.

As Canada hits peak cycling season, the Canadian Automobile Association has launched a new national public education campaign encouraging drivers and cyclists to share the road safely. Drivers and cyclists are sometimes seen at odds, but all road users are at their best when following the rules of the road.

On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, a CAA School Zone Safety Assessment was conducted at two Regina elementary schools, St. Kateri Tekakwitha, 4415 James Hill Road and École Harbour Landing, 4419 James Hill Road. The assessment took place before school from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. and after school from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

May 11th, 2021 is CAA Slow Down Move Over Day, a national day of safety in observance and recognition of first responders working on our highways, including tow truck operators, police officers, paramedics, fire department crews, construction workers, and highway patrol staff.
