CAA Battery Depot is looking for a dedicated and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the daily sales and service of batteries and battery-related accessories, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the store operates smoothly. This is a hands-on position that involves repetitive lifting, handling of cash transactions, and maintaining the store's stock of batteries and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with the selection and sale of batteries and related accessories.
  • Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions through a POS system.
  • Lift, stock, and charge batteries (50 pounds or less).
  • Install batteries in key fobs, watches, thermometers, and other small devices.
  • Install automotive batteries and accessories as required.
  • Charge, label, and stock batteries in the store.
  • Pick up stock orders using a 1-ton flatbed truck.
  • Perform general care and maintenance of the store and surrounding lot.
  • Follow and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Grade 12 equivalent or higher.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with basic hand/power tools and battery testing equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive, powersport, and utility batteries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
  • Experience handling cash and processing payments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive lifting of batteries (50 pounds or less).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking and maintaining inventory.

Hours of work for this position are five days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
