CAA Slow Down Move Over Day is May 13, 2025

Tuesday, May 13, 2025, is CAA Saskatchewan Slow Down Move Over Day, a special day of safety in observance and recognition of tow truck operators and first responders working on our highways, including police officers, paramedics, firefighters, highway patrol staff, snowplow operators, and construction workers.

May has been proclaimed as CAA School Safety Patrol Month in Saskatchewan by the Honourable Everett Hindley, Minister of Education.

Drum roll please... Announcing the CAA 2025 Top Ten Worst Roads!

From April 8 to 29, 2025, Saskatchewan road users including pedestrians, motorists, cyclists, transit users, and motorcyclists, have nominated and voted for their worst, unsafe roads. The common safety concerns for worst, unsafe roads are crumbling pavement, potholes, lack of maintenance or repair, congestion, not enough signage, and poor infrastructure. Hurry it's the last day to vote... CAA's 2025 top ten Worst Roads will be announced tomorrow!

It's Week Two! This week we hear from road users in Cupar and Markinch.

CAA's popular Worst Roads campaign, which started on April 8, 2025, is now into its second week. Saskatchewan road users including motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and passengers continue to nominate and vote for roads they say are unsafe "WORST" roads. In fact, we are learning that Saskatchewan residents have a lot to say when it comes to the roads they travel on and the shape they are in.
